Register a Team
For teams that have already formed and are ready to play in the SAJBL Summer Competition. Please ensure you only register your team once.
Please read carefully before registering
Only one person per team should complete this registration. Do not submit duplicate registrations, as this will create duplicate teams in our system.
Ensure you click on the + New Team Registration link.
During the registration process, you’ll enter the details of your players. Each player you enter will then receive an individual link to complete their player registration and payment.
What you’ll need:
Names and dates of birth of all players.
Parent/guardian email addresses for each player.

The season registration cost is $275 per player, plus a $34.47 Basketball SA fee per player
Once you’re ready, click the button below to register your team for the upcoming SAJBL season.
Please note that SAJBL does not take individual player registrations or create teams. If you’re not already part of a full team, you’ll need to connect with one of our partner academies or clubs, who manage team formation and player placements. This ensures the best fit for each player’s development and experience.

You’ll need:

Not at first. Once the team is registered, each player will automatically be sent a link to complete their individual registration and payment.

The season registration cost is $275 per player, plus a $34.47 Basketball SA fee per player. This covers 15 games (3 grading, 10 regular season, and 2 finals or crossover games).

Every team is guaranteed 15 games. Even if you don’t make finals, games will still be scheduled so players get the full season value.

Yes. Each team is responsible for arranging its own uniforms. This is not managed by SAJBL.

All fixtures, schedules, and ladders will be available in the Basketball Connect app once the season begins.

If you don’t have a full team, do not register. Instead, direct individual players to the “Looking for a Team” page on our website so they can connect with one of our partner academies or clubs.
